About Grace's
Grace's Unique Gift
Boutique is located at 19250 W. Lake Houston Pkwy., Suite J. in
Humble Texas. We, the owners of Grace's are originally from St.
Bernard Parish Louisiana and like so many others were forced to
relocate because of Hurricane Katrina. There are three of us who
evacuated together and relocated together here in Humble. Before
Katrina we all three had different careers. Eric, was a
counselor; Sean, was a personal banker; and I (Mark), was a
computer technician. Grace's was not a planned venture, on the
contrary, it was the brain-child of the three of us and came
about out of complete necessity. After coming to the undeniable
conclusion that we had lost everything and that there was
nothing to go back to, we decided to venture out and open our
own store. After some discussion and the agreement that the
store would be named after our cocker spaniel Gracie, Grace's
was born.
Since settling in Humble Texas we have been welcomed with open
arms by our new community and we could not be more thankful. We
will always miss St. Bernard and New Orleans and our original
home will always hold a very close and dear place in our hearts,
but we are embracing our new home and our new community with the
same zeal with which we have been welcomed.
Of course we would love it if you would look around our store
and shop with us. We have many wonderful items and they are
always changing. Sean creates the beautiful silk botanicals
himself and we have now released our own line of highly scented
candles. Each candle is hand poured by us and they are
beautifully scented. We have agreed upon the name of
Esteem Home Fragrances
for our candles. Being from the New Orleans area we have many
Fleur de Lis items
and are adding more everyday. Of course we have other items as
well, like effusion lamps and lamp oils, bath and body items by
Crabtree & Evelyn and Thirstystone Coasters. One of our most
